If you are planning to have a little gathering at your place, you may consider making these simple, healthy, and delicious patties for your loved ones. I pair my patties with a little hot sauce mixed with honey to give a sweet and spicy flavor to my patties. My niece is four and she is practically my food taster these days. I'm fascinated by these little people's sensitivity of taste buds. Their approach to food is beyond my imagination and expectation. And I do believe that it is important to spend a little time educating the young ones about food, teaching them where their plates of food came from and letting them get the sense of how food enables us encountering nature. I don't like to preach because I am not a trained chef, an eloquent food writer, or a certified nutritionist. This is also why I don't like to say too much on my blog. I would rather use my images and my actual daily practice to show that home cooking is doable and eating healthy doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. This little change to your lifestyle can make a huge difference to the world in the long run. Happy cooking and happy Labor Day!
