let's give a little kick to the oil... jalapeño n' garlic oil...

These little green bad boys helped lift my broccoli pasta dish to a more sophisticated level!  I would say the taste is rather elegant... haha..  I like to romanticize my food... ;)

Ingredients: (2 servings)

1 jalapeño, chopped*

2 broccoli, reserve the florets only

2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 egg yolks, seasoned

1-2 sprigs of sage leaves

200g cooked pasta according to the packaging label

grated parmesan

extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions:  1) Preheat the frying pan with oil, cook the garlic and chopped jalapeño under medium low heat for a minute  2) add sage leaves and cooked under low heat for 5-8 minutes until the vegetables are crispy but not burnt  3)  on the other hand, cook the broccoli florets and pasta in salted water 4) add the cooked pasta and broccoli with a small cup of pasta water to the frying pan under low heat  5) stir and mix evenly  6) turn off the fire and add the egg yolks to the pasta dish with some grated parmesan cheese to give a creamy sauce  7) garnish with more parmesan if you like and ready to serve!! :)

* please don't remove the seeds because they give the spicy flavor to the oil
